In case you missed out on Winter X Games 15 Snowmobile Best trick, Caleb and Colten Moore brought something never before seen or heard of.  But before we dive too far into best trick lets take a step back and look at how X Games 15 unfolded for the Texas tuesome as they've been dubbed.

Caleb and Colten returned to Aspen after a dissapointing run at Winter X Games the year prior.  Caleb had recieved a bronze medal in freestyle but many people, the broadcasting staff included, felt both brothers were underscored considering the level of their performances.  No matter, the brothers put Winter X 14 behind them and set their sights on doing something bigger and better in 2011.

Both brothers felt the need to make a statement at Winter X this year and went to great lengths to keep their X Games plans concealed until actually arriving at the event.  Come to find out, they held their cards close right up to the final run of the final event.

Both brothers advanced from their freestyle heats but after a three way tie, Colten was ousted and eliminated from the event final.  Caleb went on to claim bronze despite pulling back to back tsunami flips and indian air flips.  Caleb also recieved a last minute invite to speed and style and faired decently though he didn't earn a medal.

Best trick is where both brothers intended to make their mark and Caleb's first run made a loud statement as he executed a perfect carolla.  Colten followed suit by strapping himself to his sled and letting fly with one a lazyboy flip that rivaled most bike fmx competitors.  The brothers sat in 2nd and third after their first attempts but two competitors would push Colten off the podium and out of medal contention.

Caleb came back with the carolla but this time landed with no hands without checking the bars first.  The perfectly executed trick made the crowd go wild but the judges apparently didn't think it was innovative enough and kept in him 2nd place.  After revealing the score the crowd let the judges know they weren't happy with the score.

Colten motored out for his final run and his last chance of claiming a medal and in true Colten Moore fashion, dismounted his sled and began playing to the crowd.  What happened next was truly something out of a video game.  Caleb came back onto the course and Colten latched himself to the back of Caleb as they approached the ramp for one final run.  The announcers couldn't believe what they were seeing and as the brothers executed a perfect tandem backflip, Colten threw in an indian air off the back of the sled just for good measure.

No one saw it coming and no one could believe what they had just witnessed.  Caleb and Colten said later they knew they probably wouldn't get a score for it but the WOW factor was more than enough.  The brothers definitely left their mark on Winter X Games 15 and that move will likely go down in Winter X Games history.  We're already excited to see what they have planned for next year.
